Imagery

The imagery style sets the tone for visual storytelling associated with the Peter Harrison Foundation. This section outlines the preferred visual aesthetics and guidelines for selecting or creating visuals that align with the brand's values and messaging.

Image Examples

When communicating the ethos and impact of the Peter Harrison Foundation, the style of imagery we use is crucial.

Imagery should showcase the human element of our endeavours by featuring individuals whose lives have been positively impacted by the programs we fund.

We choose images that are diverse, authentic, and full of energy to foster a personal connection with our audience. These images not only tell a story but also embody the spirit of the Foundation's commitment to making a difference.

Aspect Ratios

Whilst we receive imagery from various organisations and can't always ensure the image format, we aim for imagery to be in landscape orientation using an aspect ratio of 3:2. This not only provides a balanced composition but allows us to easily crop our images using other common aspect ratios such as 16:9 and 1:1.

By maintaining a standardised aspect ratio, imagery remains adaptable without losing its focus or quality. This approach ensures that our images remain impactful and effectively communicate the Foundation's story with clarity and coherence, whether they are displayed on a webpage header or social media posts in a square format.

The below dimensions can be used to create layouts in design software such as Canva:
3:2 - 1920 x 1280 px
16:9 - 1920 x 1080 px
1:1 - 1080 x 1080 px
